RIDE AND STRIDE

Last Saturday 14th September St Luke’s Church, Lower Whitley, opened its doors to all riders, striders and anyone who just wanted to have a look around our beautiful church!
In this national event, churches around the country open their doors to allow visitors the opportunity to admire these historic buildings many offering refreshments. The event raises money through sponsorship to help save historic churches, chapels and meeting houses for future generations by helping to fund urgent repairs and the installation of modern facilities.
Local families participated in the event and enjoyed beautiful weather as they cycled across the Cheshire countryside. WELL DONE!

A TOTAL OF £427 HAS BEEN RAISED - half of this stays with St Luke's Church so thank you !
